Hi Scotty 2000 Accord lx auto/sedan/160k miles. Runs like a watch gets 33mpg A/C GETS 35 Degrees. Blower switch is going out. I leave it on low thats all you need even in hot NCal. It will go off then come back on stay on for 5hrs on a trip. Honda is back ordered everybody else is too. I heard some Accords had this issue in soldering panel. Found a rebuilt on EBay it didn't work. I want to keep car. "What do you suggest". I'm a car dude. Cars in excellent shape I take care of my stuff. Hate electrical issues. Bri

how do you know it's the panel and not the motor?

The motor has all speeds. Sounds good. Turn it off turn it back on lights on dash don't come on tap on dash or dial it comes on.

try to find one at the junk yard,.
If that didn't work I would get an electrical schematic and rewire in some new switches/dials myself.

The motor has to get power from switch. Its weird acts like a short. Or blower dial solder coming loose from panel. And can't find panel anywhere. So it was a issue and Honda didn't do a recall.

It just started beginning of Sept. Since I leave it on it hasn't gone off. I always turned A/C off so starter did not have another drag. Now its bit me in the butt. Easier to replace starter. YouTube has video of what's happening with it.

No junk yards have it. I'v searched all over. You answered my question. I knew that's the answer. Replacing control panel behide dash takes 10 minutes. Theirs a reason that part is know where to be found. Can't trust EBay. Honda new is 375.00 ebay 80.00. Hey thank you so much. 2nd opinion is always nice. My tech friend said the same thing. The heat here in NCal had some thing to do with it through the years. But DAM IT. I WANT A NEW CONTROL PANEL.

To let you know the hvac control panel just wore out tuning knobs. Like brand new. Thx. Answer me this why on a 2014 honda crv VTC actuator at cold start up sound like timing chain is ripping noise goes away. Honda knows about it but declines. Why do the 2 go together. Honda replaces goes away for while then returns.

you should post a new question

Try replacing the heater blower resistor.  AutoZone - $38.99.
