Hey Scotty,
I've a got a 1971 MG Midget, and when i make a full stop then take a left hand turn, I'll usually immediately hear a clunk from what sounds like the right rear wheel of the car when I accelerate. I've tugged on the right rear wheel to see if there is any play, jacked it up and looked for anything loose, but I can't find anything to explain this "clunk/thump" sound. And it only happens when I'm making a left hand turn from being stopped, either when i'm accelerating from 1st gear or when i drop it into second gear while still accelerating. I'll have some time this winter to pull things apart and repair, any idea what I should consider replacing?
Thanks buddy!

Look for bad bushings back there but often as simple as a bad shock
