I have a 2011 Ford Flex titanium awd with ecoboost it has 122,000 miles on it and I have a clunking noise when turning while driving. I believe it is a bad cv shaft but I want to make sure before just buying parts in hopes of fixing the problem

Usually, but not always, CV joint failure is caused when a boot tears so for a start you might want to inspect those.
