Hey Scotty! I have a 1999 dodge Dakota sport 2.5L four cylinder, with a 5 speed transmission. I’ve driven the truck for about a year now. It’s a very reliable truck, but hear lately the truck shakes like a maraca when letting off the clutch. Only when it has a lot of weight in the back and at running temperature. The clutch also has a lot of play in it. The clutch disengages when it’s pressed in an inch 🤣 🤣

Sounds like you’re about ready for a new clutch. One thing you can check, I don’t remember if you have a separate reservoir for your hydraulic clutch. Check the fluid see if it’s low. But chances are your clutch is gettin thin. The shaking happens when it slips then grabs then slips etc when engaging. Usually wear, or if it’s slipping enough to get hot. It slips, gets hot, which causes it to slip more and so on. If it shifts better cold thats a sign it’s just worn out.
