Hello Scotty, I deliver newspapers for a living and put on over 5k monthly in mileage. Are CNG Honda Civics reliable? I have a gas Civic but the gas is so expensive.

There is a reason they were phased out. Good luck finding a fuel station much less a mechanic to fix it with proper certification. If I also remember correctly they don't even get good milage or maybe negligible difference.

If you are really on about gas being to expensive buy a hybrid or go full electric since you are city work anyways

The 8th-generation CNG Civic was rated 2 MPG better than the regular Civic of the same era. Pollutes less, but not much better fuel mileage.

I have never seen a CNG Civic. But they're such fuel sippers to begin with, I can't imagine you're going to save anything from trading in.

Depending on what you can afford and what your gasoline Civic is worth I would say consider a Prius. Good built and reliability and it does give good mileage. Just make sure if buying used to check the condition of the battery so you don't end up with the battery replacement cost/expense.
