Alright y’all, I have a 2004 Ford F-150 with 280k and it’s starting to throw code at me. P0183 which reads generic fuel temperature sensor A circuit voltage went above calibrated limit specifications during the self test. Any help please!

Have you done a visual inspection yet or tested the wiring with a voltmeter? Be sure to also check the tsb's There could be an open or short in the wiring. If not then you are most likely outta luck as it would then most likely be the sensor at fault, which would suck cause I think you have to drop the tank to get to it. Might be wrong. Hope I am. I haven’t tested the wiring with a voltmeter. But how would I even know which wires to test?
also new to the diy stuff so what’s a tsb? How many volts am I looking for? If I drop the tank am I replace it the whole unit?
