Hello Scotty, I have a an 2004 automatic transmission Toyota Corolla with 180,000 miles it is currently giving me the codes p0505, and p0741, its idle is random sometimes without ac it idles fine around 800 rpm, sometimes it drops to around 650-700. With ac it always idles around 670-720, and there are surges from like 600 to like 800.

Well the 741 code has to do with your transmission torque converter, so that's not messing with your idle. 505 is probably a dirty throttle body.
Here's what they say https://repairpal.com/obd-ii-code-p0505
Common Problems That Trigger the P0505 Code
- Defective Idle Air Control Motor
- Intake Manifold Vacuum leaks
- Carbon buildup in the Throttle Body air passages
Do the spray can cleaning of the throttle body and MAF sensor and let us know if that doesn't improve things.
