Was just curious for my own understanding...
Girlfriend got a new Audi A3 and loves it but now has to leave car at dealership for a week due to a faulty back up camera.
She has less than 1000 miles on it and had it for just under a month. Is it possible to ask for any compensation for this? If so what could we ask for? Kind of ridiculous that this went through inspection unnoticed. Thanks everyone

Then all is well. That’s all you can really expect.
Shouldn’t the dealership be giving her a loaner? I would press for that. That’s a fair exchange. Plus, being a luxury vehicle you expect a loaner vehicle although it’s not like the loaner is “free”; it was baked into the price of that Audi.

My co-workers who own Audis almost always get a loaner when their car is at the dealership for extended days/weeks.
