Chevy Tahoe 2003 5.3 4 wheel drive
When I'm driving it doesn't want to keep accelerating when it goes into 2nd or 3rd gear. It sounds like I'm just ramming the engine up. Is that a sign that my transmission is going out? I changed the fuel injector, fuel filter, and got a tune-up and changed the shift case. Is there something I'm missing?
It's not clear from your description, is the engine bogging down or are the engine RPMs climbing without the vehicle accelerating?
A good first step would be to scan for codes and live data.
I'm just ramming the engine
What do you mean by ramming?
Do you feel a jolt when shifting?
Or does it feel like your engine starts revving too high between shifting?
It accelerates but when it's supposed to shift gears to keep you going that's when the acceleration goes out. It doesn't let me keep going I'm just ramming the engine at that point.
But is it the engine bogging down or is it the transmission slipping?
The engine is fine it's just the transmission not going into the other gears right. When I drive and it supposed to go into the next gear to keep you going that's when the acceleration goes down

Probably. Check your transmission fluid.
And post your miles please. It's right in the instructions.
