I have a 1995 Buick Riviera supercharged in good condition. I just fixed the SC by putting in a new coupler. My ? Is when I rev it up to 3500rpms steady but the engine rpms goes up and down in the same rythem. Why?

The superchargers are very touchy for my experience with that kind of mods they often actually need rebuilding you can feel around try to fix them but I had no luck trying to do that myself on customers cars if they wanted them right they just got another supercharger and I installed it for them

The good news is that you didn't get a turbo charger.
