Considering buying 2016 Silverado 1500

I’m thinking of buying a used 2016 Silverado LT. the truck has 211,000 miles and was used as a daily driver and for trips. It has a 5.3L v8 engine. The catalytic converter and drive shaft have both been replaced but there are no other major issues with the truck. It had one owner and was well maintained. The current asking price from the dealer is $21,000 but I would offer much lower than that. I intend on using this truck as a daily driver and on occasion hauling or towing. Thanks for reading.

It could be ok for a couple of years. But with that many miles, it's going to start lightening your wallet soon.

Also that price is a joke.

It could be OK for a while but just know GM quality is low and that is very very expensive anyways have a mechanic check it out.

Maybe, but I find that it's more helpful to know WHICH areas are built well, and which aren't. Always do your research.

I would just avoid the 2017 model year because that has a ton of transmission complaints 2016 should be better that is all I'm going to say either way have a mechanic check out the engine and transmission and make sure they are in good shape if it is then it could be a decent truck.

yes, it seems that would be wise
