I have a 2005 Subaru Baja with 195000 miles. the coolant is dirty, and needs to be changes, dont know if head gasket is leaking, carfax said it was done 50000 miles ago. the manual recommends using Subaru coolant conditioner, do I have to use it, or could I get by without it? Or is it going to cause even more problems? Because I guess it is a type of stop leak.
