[Solved] Coolant level getting low with long rides

Hi, I have a 2011 Subaru Tribeca with 100k miles on it. I have noticed that in city driving, the coolant level is stable, but when I hit the road, like after driving 100 miles at 70 mph, the coolant level gets lower. Is it normal? How often should we top up the coolant?

It's not normal, coolant level should not drop. It's either leaking or burning coolant. Pressure-test the cooling system and have the head gaskets checked. (Subaru was still having head gasket problems with some models in 2011.)

Chuck is right.  If your coolant level is dropping, it is either leaking or burning, one of the two.
