Scotty I have a Hyundai that needed more coolant added to the reservoir. because the max line is faded, I filled it to be almost full. Is that going to pose a problem being at that level?

Drain some out you don't want it that high. You can actually cause it to crack it blow if that cap. You can have to much pressure build up and no ability for over flow.. Keep it around that max line. If it's only slightly above that is okay.
You should also figure out why your loosing coolant. Addressing problem now can save you down the road.
