Hello i wanted to change my radiator out of my 2000 xterra. At the moment the heater is not working. I was informed that when trying to bleed the system out of air you would need to turn on the heat. Any other way i can do it ? Tips thank you

Edit: Can i just replace it and run it like that? Will it burp out eventually if i turn it on and let it sit with the cap off

no. it has to be open for the air to escape.

The radiator was in pretty bad shape, i ended up changing it vehicle runs better thats for sure. To much grime and stuff that was in the radiator. Outside was covered in feathers dirt etc
