Hey Scotty,
I have a 2004 Chevy Impala 3.6 V6, when I am driving in town or stopped for a long time I notice the temp gauge begins to creep into the red. I noticed the cooling fan doesn’t engage either. The fuses aren’t blown but there are 3 different cooling fan relays, do I change out all of them or just #1? Thank you.

Also check the temperature sensor that triggers the cooling fan(s). It may not be the same one that's used for the temperature gauge.

usually cars have multiple relays for various things. The relays are often exactly the same. Try swapping the suspect ones with other relays that aren't needed.
