Hey Scotty et al. We're looking at getting a '21 Corolla SE 6spd manual. First spot in VIN is 5 which indicates Mississippi plant. I thought I saw you mention the Mississippi plant in one of your videos, but can't find which one that was in. What's your opinion on the Toyota made there?
Well, we bought it today...Traded in our '18 Civic Sport due to the oil dilution issue. Hoping for a loooong time with the Corolla SE

The Toyotas made in Mississippi are perfectly fine.
They are alright, not as good as the ones in Japan but still fine. Keep in mind Toyota quality control is better than other brands in the states like Hyundai and General Motors. They made the first Corolla there in 2011 and they don't have problems do they?
Its a brand new model, so if they will have a manufacturing defect or be recalled... we don't know, but most likely not.
