Hi Scotty. I have a 2015 corolla gx with 130,000 ks. I live in a hilly area with quite a bit of of traffic. It's currently doing 8.5 litres / 100km, which seems a lot higher than the manufacturer specs. Is this likely to be a mechanical issue or just a product of the area? I drive smoothly too. I suspect spark plugs never been changed and could be issue with the MAF - any other suggestions? Cheers

I suspect it your environment .
Car going up hill and u can double your mpg and stop start it really can mean more money on fuel.
Check with basic like spark plug, air filter maf sensor , good oil just to keep up the maintinace
