I have a Silverado ss and everytime I use the brakes for the first time it locks. Kind of when going over ice? I read it may be break dust or bad pads, what do y’all think? It has been getting colder and I’ve noticed it more often usually like I said when I brake hard for the first time. Brake fluid is filled no leaks. Also it does it when I’m driving for a awhile and haven’t used the brakes it will do that slide again. Like you are driving over ice and trying to brake.

the most common problem would be glazed brake rotors so I would change the front rotors and the pads and use quality pads like akebono which lasts longer and grip better and don't slip
