How do you remove the 5/16 (tiny) strap bolts that hold the half shaft to the diff.
without breaking the bolt (33 years old)
Heat & quench with water?.
Breaker bar or impact gun.
What do you suggest?

If spraying it with Liquid Wrench and letting it soak a day or two doesn’t work, you can try a little heat. I wouldn’t get it glowing hot. I assume your talking about the strap bolts around the Joint? Sometimes you just have to grind them off and put in new ones. If your bolts actually go into the yoke you may have to drill and tap if you can’t get them to break loose. Try a breaker bar and pull easy.
