Corvette Mice Problem

Hi Scotty,

I recently bought an 89 Black Automatic C4 Corvette Convertible with 55k miles for $6k. After replacing some minor sensors and correcting a radio issue, I find out there’s an old inactive mouse nest behind the radio and droppings all behind the dash. Is it worth keeping this car with a problem like that or getting rid of it? Any suggestions for cleaning hard areas behind the dash? It is making me queasy.

It all depends.  Do you like the car? Is it having any other problems? If not it probably is okay to keep. Are you able to get a vacuum hose to the location? If not it might be a pain to pull the dash out.

My buddy pulled out the dash on his better once Said it was the most annoying thing he has ever done on the interior of a car lol. For potential damages, there maybe shorts, and other electrical gremlins. Not to hard to trace if need be but if the car runs and drives then I'd say it's all good haha! As for cleaning the hard spots, since you are not a fan of seeing old droppings and the whatnot, get a needle nose vacuum and it should be able to reach the areas nicely.
