CR-V 1.5L turbo vs. Rav4's 2.5L non-T

Love may 2010 CR-V 2.4L engine, newer ones (2020 and up I believe) have 1.5L W/Turbo, don't want a Turbo, but I need to replace my 2006 Subaru Baja. Toyota Rav4 offers a Dynamic Force 2.5L I-4 port/direct injection, DOHC, VVT-iE varia (some listing I've researched don't show the VVT-iE varia as part of the description)
What's your opinion on the 2.5L I-4 port/direct injection reliability?
Thanks

Well so far it has proved to be extremely reliable. Yes it's very complex but they haven't had any breakdown problems yet

That RAV4 engine is used in so many Toyota cars: RAV4, Highlander, Camry, Crown. So far so good with that engine.
