can I spray CRC Lectra Motive Electric Parts cleaner directly on the Alternator to clean it and improve operation?

You won't improve anything. You'll just dry out the bearings.
Just wipe it off if you need to show off your engine at a car show.

You run the risk of dissolving some critical insulating materials and or lubricants. Normally you use that stuff sparingly to clean something that's actually dirty. And then you make sure you allow it to dry completely before reconnecting the battery. Forgot to disconnect the battery? It can wash out necessary bearing grease if used indiscriminately. Your alternator will spin very freely for a very short time. I am skeptical of any benefit.
