- Scan tool said switch was good
- 211000 miles
- After market remote start. (Stopped working)
- Changed both brake switch and cruise switch
- Cruise light comes on when you start car
- Small light on steering wheel
- Scan tool said brake applied.
- Tested new switches they are working

I know it's more often than not it's the cruise control computer module that goes bad there's no way of checking them you just replace them if everything else seems okay
