Cruise control problems

Scotty:

I have a 2002 Toyota Highlander, Limited, 2 wheel drive, 3.0 Engine, Vin # JTEGF21A720032765, 160,00 miles, Automatic transmission. I am having cruise control problems (no OBDII codes). It drops out occasionally, sometimes when I hit a bump and sometimes on a smooth road. Sometimes the green cruise light goes out and sometimes it stays on when it drops out. I have replaced the cruise control switch, spiral cable and the brake switch and so far nothing has worked. My mechanic has checked all the connections and sprayed them with CRC even under the dash. Because this is intermittent, we don't know what to do next, can you help us please.

Well unfortunate it's probably his cruise control module which costs a small fortune and sometimes they can even be in the main computer which also cost a small fortune you get an old car like that you can't expect the cruise control to operate all that well anymore
