2018 Ram 1500-slt, I replaced driver's side CV axel and realized the other side is also bad,. When I went to garage the mach. says it is loose and may be defective. My question is: Could it be the ring clip isn't seated proper to allow the "New CV-axel" to be loose?

"Says it is loose" The cv joint is not the issue its the axel that can be moved about 8th-inch or so in any direction. I have "Dead Blow Hammer" I'll give it a good wack!

Could it be the ring clip isn't seated proper
anything is possible. Just click it back in.
