- Hey Scotty, I just recently replaced cv axels and wheel bearings in the front of my 2014 Subaru Forester. I opted against oem since they are really expensive. Instead I purchased aftermarket TRQ brand. After reading several reviews they appear to be a good choice... What's your thoughts on this brand? I noticed after comparing these to the oem ones I was replacing the threads where the axel nut goes on aren't as deep. When I put the axel nut on, it appears it isn't on all the way. I checked to make sure the axel was seated properly and also torqued the but down to proper specs. I also was able to dent the nut down so it doesn't come off. Do you think it's safe being out so far? I just want to make sure it's safe. Thanks for your time! I appreciate it.

A photo would help immensely here.
If have to take the tire off for a pic but I will do that as soon as I can and post it here for you to see. Thank you for responding!

I've never heard of TRQ
Probably a generic Chinese import, maybe hoping people will confuse the name with "TRW".
Trq stands for trusted reliable quality based on what I read about them. I purchased them from parts geek and they seem to be heavily advertised and suggested. Trqautoparts.com
{pear}:laughingoutloud: That definitely sounds like Chinglish.
Realize that the online reviews for these generic Chinese parts are usually fake.
