I keeping getting cylinder misfire on Number 2
After changing coils packs and spark plugs
This car has 8 spark plugs and 8 coil plugs since its hybrid car with the honda civic 1.3 motor
Could it be a fuel injector or weak fuel pump?
Car has been setting for about 1 year and its a manual.
- No vaccum leaks
- car has about 199,000 miles
- no leaks
- obd 2 scanner (Live Data)
Short fuel Trim - its always negative - ( -7.0)-(-2.0)
Long fuel trim - 0.0 at cold start but after it warms and sets at idle its substracts fuel and goes to the negative side.
Fuel trims look ok, misfire can be caused by many possibilities.
The most common causes of engine misfires are: worn spark plugs, weak fuel injector, vacuum leak, worn valve seals, carbon tracking, and no voltage at the coil.
Sparks plugs are new and coil are new
It doesn't smoke, so value stem seals are fine. Maybe a iginition igniter?
