97 accord sprocket end of camshaft broke. Is it common at 260,000 miles? Replace camshaft and seals only?

Not all that common but here's the problem most of those the cams are line board to fit the head so it's pretty much impossible to get a cam and put it on right because it was line board at the factory to fit the cam that they built there
