I got a 07 Chevy Tahoe having a misfire on cylinder 6. Had mechanic check it out. Said there was no compression on that cylinder and told me I need a new motor. Asking for a opinion that could fix it without replacing the motor. What all could cause only one cylinder to have 0 compression.

What all could cause only one cylinder to have 0 compression.
Frequently caused by a burned or cracked valve. Could also be a failed piston.
