I have a 2014 Acura TL with an automatic and a V6 engine. The car is used only once a week and has only 10K miles on it. No work has been done to the engine with the exception of changing the oil and oil filter.
The car started missing and I discovered it was cylinder 1 (of course) so I replaced the spark plug and coil. Of course, the tip of the spark plug is carboned up but the plug's threads is covered with a dark greasy substance from top to bottom. I took pictures of the single spark plug.
Can anyone explain what has cause this problem?
Thanks

Well it's running rich. It's not actually all that filed. If it was filed it would be covered up with black carbon which it isn't. Lumps of the stuff would be all over the electrodes. In your case it's running too rich so I would assume you got a problem with the fuel injection on that cylinder
