Daihatsu hijet s110p question

I have a 94 daihatsu hijet s110p automatic truck. I love the truck but would like to have more horsepower. The top speed is great at around 70-74 mph depending on if I'm on level ground but the take off speed is not so great. What kind of engine could I swap to that would be the easiest for a mechanic to match up to the transmission on it?

The question is a little flawed. Kinda a hard question to answer being that it's a K-truck. The transmission is also tiny so I don't think there are many if not no options for making a transfer plate that will suit this particular build. Anything that will make more torque would probably kill the tranny. In terms of doing this swap if you want to still swap it, I would suggest doing both engine and trans, by which then the world is your oyster. And all you need is a lot of research and time, and a some spare money as this will be a very unique build. Not exactly a lego kit for this thing from just light googling online. Someone did an ev swap so if there be a following for that, probably that would be the "easiest" due to having community to talk about the rights and wrongs. If I had this and wanted to build, I'd probably go honda engine and trans and wiring, as they will both be cheap and plentiful to be had. No such thing as an easy swap though. Anyone who says otherwise for their first swap with no assistance is a liar.
