Hello Scotty. I watch all your videos and figured you can help. My mom and I have a 2010 Toyota corolla LE about 190,000 miles on it. Automatic transmission. I often drive her car. I took it to and from work on a late night shift and on my way home a deer ran into the front right side and broke the whole headlight & housing and did some damage to parts of the hood and bumper. Definitely wasn’t as bad as it could be. We did an estimate through state farm and they sent us the money to fix it. After being torn between going to a autobody shop and using the money to have them fix the car and order the parts, we decided to maybe order the parts ourselves and see what we could fix. They estimated around 3,000 minus the deductible and gave a list of what parts are needed. Wanted to know what your thoughts on this was and if you do think it’s better that we order the parts ourselves, where would be the best place to order them from? Wish i could send you a picture

It's a 13yo high mileage corolla. I think I would just do the bare minimum to fix the headlight using scrapyard parts, and leave the rest be. No point restoring it to new.
