This car shortage has been a very good time for dealerships to steal even more. I saw a $5k markup on a 2022 civic and on top of it they were adding useless dealership packages. And all you can do as a consumer is take your business somewhere else.

Always has been. Dealers like to overcharge their vehicles because they have to make profit. I don't see the stereotypes going away soon.
