Hey scotty my dad's Volvo s60 with 48,000 is being fixed and they say are having problems with the warranty I told my dad "Why cant you get a simple car like a subaru or a Toyota or even honda"? He's filing a lawsuit for this any help you can do. It's a total rip off. Note: this is at a volvo dealership.

He signed up for a warranty and they canceled it and changed it.

His contract should be carefully read to determine exactly what was agreed upon. Such contracts are often so overly skewed in the seller's favor they aren't worth a dime.

It's no surprise. Those 3rd-party warranty companies are ripoffs. You'll probably find that the fine print in the contract allows them to deny whatever coverage they are refusing to provide.

@chucktobias only 48k? he could be talking about the factory warranty.

Good point, but he didn't state the model year and it's usually the aftermarket warranties that deny coverage.

Good luck with the lawsuit. Can't really help you with zero details. All I can advise is to read the warranty fine print carefully.

please post complete information like the year. Thanks.
