Dexron II vs ATF+4 in a 1970 dodge A727 transmission

Ok, so I own a dodge!!! I have a 64k original mileage 1970 dodge coronet r/t with a 440 and a 727 auto transmission. The last time i changed out the trans fluid, it was using Dexron II. Of course you can't get that anymore. Can I use ATF+4 in it or will that really screw things up? I thought about the Dexron III / Mercon version but all the labels seem to indicate that its for GM/Ford  products, Any suggestions for the fluid?

Thanks

Use the Dexron III "Dex/Merc", do NOT use ATF+4 in that transmission! Dealers may tell you to use it but that's because they don't want to stock the earlier fluid. I've used Dex/Merc for years in Torqueflite 3-speed transmissions and it works just fine.
