I bought a 1998 Saturn s series for 700 dollars, it gets great mileage and has 185,000 miles on it. It’s got nothing mechanical wrong with it besides the gas gauge doesn’t work but I know how to fix it (thanks to your video) and I had to replace a fuse for my cigarette lighter. Did I make a good decision on buying it?
These days, anything that runs for under 5 grand is practically a miracle. Not a luxury ride, but be grateful. Besides, you can probably flip it for twice what you paid
It depends how you intend to use it, and the condition its in.
If it lasts a year, then I'd say it was worth it, so I guess you'll see.
It's a gamble with 185k.
If it takes you to point 1 to point b with no issue then yea i thinks its a good buy for $700.
If its running great then yeah I think its a good buy.
Anything that is running usually goes for at least a grand from what I have seen and that was before the increase in used car prices.
