Hi Scotty !

I want to asses the damage I have done.

My car battery died so I wanted to jump start it using a jump starter ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B081MVHK1N)

I have put the negative (black) clamp on the struts mount and inadvertently put the red one on the negative terminal battery.

I have noticed it after a coupe seconds when the jump starter started emitting boiling sounds and a part of it basically melted.

Do you think I have fried the car electronics as well ?

No. You created a circuit between the battery negative terminal and the vehicle chassis, which are directly connected to each other. If you involved a positive terminal, it would have been a different story.

All you did was damage your booster pack, which is worrisome. Those things should have short circuit protection.
