Hey Scotty! I bought a 1999 Honda civic ex coupe 5 speed about 4 and a half years ago. I paid $2,700 for it and I live in California. It needed tires, alignment, brakes, and minor things for an old car. Recently the transmission has a small issue(input shaft bearing noise). I'm in the process of removing the transmission myself to replace the bearing. Do you think I got a good deal on the car? Should I keep it when i finish repairing or sell and get something else? I really like the car. I bought with 139k now has 197k. What are your thoughts?

Yeah $600/year is pretty good, but I think it's time to get something else.
