Recently bought a 1999 gmc 3500 dulley that would crank but wouldn't start for $1,300 with about 166k miles on it. What are your thoughts on this scotty? I think the car timing is off somehow as I know it getting air, fuel pressure. Also I will most likely need to buy new tires as it has been sitting for at least 2 years and the tires were flat/low on air. Do you think I made a good choice?

Well it depends on whether you can get the thing running good or not. Now that's no money for a truck. So what the heck price of brand new one? Even if you put an engine in this one, that's the rest of the trucks in good shape and certainly worth it. And if you're sick of it, you can always part it out for money
