Hi Scotty,
I drive a manual 2010 Mazda 3 Sedan, with a 2.5L engine. I do my oil changes every 5000 Km and after each oil change I’ll check my level and the oil looks dirty. What could this be and how can I fix this?

How many miles on the car? have you been under neath to look for oil leaks? Do you change your engine air filter regularly too?

you want the old oil to look dirty because it is what is called detergent oil and it keeps the dirt and suspension if the oil was clean that would mean the dirt is clogging the bottom of the engine and settling down. All cars today use detergent oils
