Just wondering if anyone has any specific experience disabling Smart Key (push to start) on Toyota?
I want the key to act like a normal old fashioned fob. Open the doors remotely, and use key to start the car.
I don't want the temporary solution where you turn the key off every time!
Seems like there is a way, depending on model. But the Carista (OBD2 programming tool) website does not have this option for all models, so has anyone either used Carista or paid the dealer to do it?
