I live in the Toronto area where car theft (and recently car jacking) has unfortunately become an everyday fact of life. With all-electric cars being less targeted than gas engine cars, are hybrids also less interesting to car thieves?

Apparently Prius catalytic converters are a frequent target of theft, though I would imagine anything with lots of ground clearance would be much easier to quickly steal.
