I've being told that ceramic pads breaks the rotors, do I need special rotors? I still have the original ones. Thanks!

don't worry about rotors, they last a long time and are cheap to replace.

Who told you that?

Akebono pads work perfectly fine with factory rotors. Worst case, skim/replace the rotors if you’re suffering from the steering wheel shuddering when braking at highway speeds.

You don’t need special rotors for regular cars.

If your current rotors are not showing any cracks, do not have a deep gouges, … worked just fine to date, and the thickness is still about 2 millimetres more than the minimum, … just instal new pads, and be done with it! Simple, …
