I noticed some grease on my CV axle and found that the inner joint appears to be leaking grease. I can't see that the boot is ripped, but rather it looks like the grease is just leaking from under the clamp. I know it's easier to replace the whole assembly than to try and rebuild the boot, but I'm trying to figure out whether enough grease has escaped to warrant immediate replacement, or if I should just keep an eye on it as I drive and try to get some additional miles out of it.

you can keep driving, but when it starts to make noise then you should replace the axle.
