Transmission slipping

Hey Scotty, this is really just a shot in the dark, i know you're a very busy guy and i wasn't sure if i'd even get a response but i checked to see online how i can reach you and it said i could try sending you an email here. So i recently did a front passenger CV axle replacement on a 2018 Ford Escape SEL 1.5L and when i did it the first time i finished and i test drove it and the transmission was slipping here and there and i did not lose any transmission fluid when i did the switch so i didn't add any transmission fluid when i was done so i came to the conclusion that maybe it wasn't seated properly in the transmission so i just reinstalled it lastnight and i did manage to get it a little further into the transmission, however, when i tried to test drive it after this second installation attempt the car is now not moving at all in any gear besides sometimes it will reverse a little bit before stopping again. I put the car in neutral and pushed it back into my driveway and now i dont know where to go from here. Do you have any ideas of why this might be happening? I followed every step to a T and i also torqued everything to manufacturers specs.. should i try to take everything apart again and reinstall one more time? Or is it possible that i need to flush my transmission regardless of whether i lost any fluid or not? I did also come across torn, worn, and crushed boots on my swaybar link, my outer tie rod end and my lower ball joint. I did manage to replace both the swaybar link and the outer tie rod end, i just didnt replace my lower ball joint since they didnt have any in stock for my vehicle at the time of repair, my only option was to buy an entire control arm but i didnt want to spend 186$ on that when i could replace the lower ball joint only for $30ish. The control arm is still in good shape. Any suggestions at all? I can flush the transmission but it is a sealed transmission so its going to be a big hassle. Please help me, you're the best guy i know to answer my questions and also the only mechanic on youtube that i follow and trust. You are my idol sir!!! Thank you in advance

Well I assume it worked fine before you did the work. So you probably got a crappy drive shaft that doesn't fit right? And it's slipping. Let's pray it didn't damage the inside of the transmission where it snaps in or then you'd have to replace the transmission too
