Hey everyone, I have a 2017 Mazda Miata my owners manual says change the spark plugs every 75,000 miles, but doesn't say if I should change them before a specific time interval. I was wondering if they wear over time and miles or just miles?

nope, as long as the engine gets regular use they can go on and on and on

If the engine is off, spark plugs aren't actively being used. If you do extreme amounts of idling, you might change them a bit sooner, because the engine is still actively running and not going anywhere. Unless you do idle for hours on hand like the police, you can keep the same spark plugs for 75k miles.
