My wife has a 2001 F 150 with 128,000 miles on it. Three weeks ago, my service garage installed a new intake manifold with gaskets and thermostat. The code was PO 301, mechanic said coolant was leaking into #1 cylinder. Now, the symptoms are back. Runs rough at start-up then runs smooth and wet-ness showing up in engine valley. He said he will take a look at it, my appointment is 12 days away. What should I expect when he looks at it again? More specific, what will the repair cost again?? Thanks very much. Bob

Find a good mechanic to fix it correctly.
