Hey Scotty, Huge fan! I have been offered to trade my 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer ES (automatic transmission) with 103,000 miles for a toyota celica gt (manual transmission)with 132,000 miles. I assume its 03-04. It does have quite a bit more mileage than my car. Do u think its worth the trade? And if they ask for more money how much should i pay more?

If you are looking for something reliable, I would pass on the Celica. It is a fun toy but it sounds to me like you need a more reliable car that you can depend on.

Not if the Celica has the Yamaha engine. With that said, are you the first (original) owner of the Lancer?

Have you had a good mechanic check out the Celica? What did they say?

I am not the original owner of the Lancer. I am not entirely sure what year or engine on the celica. I do plan on having my mechanic inspect it before trading. My lancer has the 4G94 engine. It burns half a quart every 4k miles or so. The biggest issue with it is that it shuts off when i turn on the heater or ac :/

What are your options apart from this Celica?

Those years had a Yamaha engine I would skip.
