How reliable would a new Dodge Challenger with the 5.7 V8 and standard tremec transmission be? What are the most unreliable parts of the Dodge Challenger? I was looking at a challenger because I want a standard and the one on the mustang seems extremely unreliable.

I'd say the Challenger is more reliable compared to the Ford Mustang. And I believe Dodge offers more features like sport displays, launch control with setup, sport mode, etc. Dodge in general still has a focus on the American Muscle spirit whereas Ford moved on from it. My brother has a 2016 Challenger Scatpack automatic (ZF transmission) and my dad has a 2016 Challenger Scatpack manual. The only complaint my dad has about the manual is the shifter. He says the shifter is not that smooth and doesn't easily click into the next gear sometimes. Others on YouTube have similar complaints about the shifter...seems like a common problem.
